Beatless face at prom?

It's prom season! It's where girls find that perfect prom dress, get their faces made to perfection, nails done, hair done and you can't forget shoes! As BELLES we have A LOT to do to prepare for prom. It's that one event that you've been waiting on since your freshman year in high school. But sometimes there is so much going on during prom, that you might forget a thing or to. What about getting your makeup done?

How can you not have makeup for prom!? Well graduating senior, Mercedes Wyatt went to prom without ANY makeup and still looked gorgeous!

Like any average girl preparing for prom, you may be looking like... "Who forgets about makeup?" a major event, Mercedes was devastated when her makeup did not get done. She was put in a funk, and even got a little teary eyed until her boyfriend and date William showed up telling her how beautiful she looked. Mercedes took pictures with friends and family and was overjoyed with William by her side. Just look at how he looks at her! He's glad to have her by his side.(Who doesn't want to be looked at like that?!?) They are just too cute!

Mercedes got her dress custom made by a local designer in Detroit, MI, with shoes to match. Her and prom date William wore royal blue to East English Village Preparatory Academy's Prom this May. Both Mercedes and William's families were there to see them off to prom. A lot of pictures were taken and Mercedes said prom was one of the best nights of her life.

Prom is one of the best experiences you can have as a high school student. Don't get so wrapped up in the style of the dress, impressing your date or getting the most expensive shoe that people are more than likely not going to see. Have fun and be yourself! You make the dress, don't let the dress make you! Mercedes made her prom happen by showing off her natural beauty and had a great experience because of it.

Don't make it a requirement to get made up for every event, challenge yourself to go to a huge event without any makeup and see how stellar you truly are. You have to BYOB anyway ;)
