The BELLES below have shared why they love going natural every once in a while, and why other girls should feel comfortable in their own skin. Girls from 10-18 years old have shared their opinions and feedback. Read below to see what these natural beauties had to say.

I like to go natural because I love my curls! I always feel one with my inner blackness when I decide to go natural. It reminds me of my cultural background & the true versatility and beauty of black women that commonly goes unnoticed. Other girls should go natural because it is so important to be confident in yourself with and your natural hair. So often in the media and in society black women are bashed for their curls, kinks or coils for being "nappy" or "unprofessional" and it's time to put an end to it. As more black women go natural they have the affect to inspire another black woman to be confident in their natural hair and their over all self.

Girls should go natural and love the skin your in because you have to love yourself before you love anyone else. Being able to be free in your own skin makes you confident in who you are as a person.

Girls should go natural because God made us the way we are for a reason and he wants us to stay that way. God made you beautiful so you shouldn't get tattoos because he created us how he wants you to look.

The simple answer to this would to just simply say that going natural promotes healthy hair. While this is very true, it is very important that understand that everyone's hair is different and that going natural requires a lot of maintenance and patience. Going natural can help your hair grow and restore your curl pattern, but make sure that you are always taking monthly visits to a beautician so that you make sure that your natural hair healthy. When you go natural, you will definitely notice a difference in your hair's health!

You should love the skin you're in because there is no one else in this world that's like you! You're hair, skin, eyes, personality is not like anyone else in this universe. That's dope! be you!

I think girls should go natural because it shows who you really are and let's you express yourself.

Girls should love the skin their in because it's beautiful. All shades of brown are gorgeous and loving yourself and the skin you're in makes you 10x more gorgeous.

This is my picture with no makeup on my face or eyes. I think I did my eyebrows though. Girls should love the skin they're in for the simple fact that it's their's. I feel like all girls should take pride in what they own, in this case their skin. When I was growing up, I was often teased about how dark my skin was, my classmates called me all kinds of hurtful names. I hated my skin so much and I always wished it was lighter. It wasn't until I got older that I realized that I needed to tune out all the mean things people said and get in tune with my confidence. I started taking better care of my skin and I was more confident and comfortable with my skin. Overall I feel very happy and in love with my skin, I think it's one of my best features. I learned that when I started loving my skin, others started loving it too.

More girls should go natural because I feel we all need to embrace our culture and love ourselves for who we are. Natural hair is healthy and realizing you're a beautiful black queen in your natural state!

This month The BELLE Society is celebrating natural beauty! Free from weaves, makeup and acrylic nails, we're going natural and loving every moment of it. This campaign will focus on natural beauty, which shows that BELLES are beautiful with and without makeup; but before using any other beauty proudcts they should accept the natural beauty they already hold.
